About the Role
As a Fabric Engineer at ISS, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our leading edge status in the industry and enhancing our reputation with customers. Your focus will be on achieving significant results and outcomes for the business, while prioritizing adherence to Health and Safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Implement onsite Quality Assurance procedures, ensuring accuracy and maintaining records/documentation.
- Respond promptly and effectively to all building fabrics related issues and help desk requests, providing excellent customer service.
- Support the Engineering Team with general tasks, working collaboratively to achieve set objectives.
- Conduct technical surveys of building fabrics services and systems, reporting findings to the Engineering Team and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate initial actions associated with client requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Deal with customer enquiries and complaints, reporting actions taken to line management and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Prior experience in a Facilities Management (FM) background is highly desirable.
- Relevant trade-related certificates, such as Carpentry, Plumbing, Joinery, or Painting & Decorating, are essential.
