Utilities Surveyor

What Are We Looking For?
Our Asset Management & Technical Services team in Cumbernauld is looking for a Utilities Surveyor to join us to assist in the delivery of projects across Scotland. You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of projects for our clients, carrying out utility surveys for a variety of schemes. This position would ideally suit someone with the ambition to take on challenges and deliver results.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
- Managing and maintaining survey equipment.
- Producing Utility Survey drawings and reports
- Undertaking utility surveys from start to finish.
- Total station and GSP/GNSS observations.
- Post-processing of GRP data.
- Locating utilities through electromagnetic locators and ground-penetrating radar.
- Assisting in overall developing of the survey department.
- Manhole lifting, recording observations and measurements.
- Production of CAD drawings form survey data.
- Knowledge of PAS128 and concepts related to the safe design and operation of on-site activities.
What Do You Need?
- Previous experience working in a similar position.
- Demonstratable experience with EML, GRP, GPS, and Total Station.
- Familiarity with the latest digital mapping technology.
- Experience using GRP data post-processing software.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
