About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Service Liaison Officer to join our team at the Fire Service College. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our training delegates, supporting instructional staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our training venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting instructional staff to provide excellent customer service to our training delegates
  • Being the link between the Fire Service College and clients and international delegates
  • Providing support to the department and assisting in daily tasks
  • Following the Health & Safety Policy and ensuring compliance
  • Ensuring safe practices and risk assessments are followed
  • Managing accidents and near misses
  • Ensuring other employees or persons using the FSC premises are not at risk
  • Carrying out building safety inspections

Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Good level of general IT literacy
  • Experience or knowledge of health and safety activities and practices
  • Provision of consistently high standards of customer service
  • Experience of working in a constantly evolving workplace environment
  • Valid driving license
  • Experience of working in a training environment or in the Fire Service

What We Offer:

  • Salary of up to £24,000
  • 23 days' holiday (rising to 27) with the opportunity to buy extra leave
