About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Wifinity. As a key member of our SHEQ department, you will play a vital role in promoting and supporting a positive Health and Safety culture across our UK customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver SHEQ programs and frameworks to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Work closely with the Operational Team to plan and execute audits and inspections, ensuring that works are undertaken in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Identify trends and provide sound advice on improvements to enhance our delivery model.
  • Develop and deliver Toolbox Talks to ensure consistent understanding of areas of focus or specific changes required.
  • Maintain records of audits and inspections, including corrective actions and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
  • Assist in investigations where issues arise relevant to health, safety, and environmental elements.
  • Develop and review RAMS to support current and future company operations.
  • Support the ongoing development and improvement of the company management system.
  • Support in the delivery and maintenance of current and future accreditations.
About You

We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive individual with strong SHEQ experience, who can work independently to develop the role and drive forward change. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to successfully apply your robust SHEQ knowledge with a commercial lens, and a passion for national travel and face-to-face interactions.

Requirements
  • Experience of working in the field as a Health and Safety/SHEQ Advisor within construction disciplines, inclusive of work at height, asbestos, and manual handling.
  • Experience in the development of RAMS to support the above elements of construction activities.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in delivering across the health, safety, and environmental spectrum.
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
  • Driver's License.
  • Ability to gain Security Clearance.
