Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Practice Nurse to join our team at Wilson Street Surgery. As a Practice Nurse with a particular interest in diabetes, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement and evaluate individual treatment plans for patients with diabetes, promoting health and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with the Practice team to provide general practice nursing services to patients.
  • Assist with the leadership and good management within the nursing team.
  • Work autonomously following local and national guidance.
Key Requirements
  • RGN qualification.
  • Diabetes diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adapting to change management.
Working Conditions
