Deputy Facility Chief Engineer

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of £63,856 (inclusive of MPP) plus excellent benefits, including an outstanding pension scheme and corporate bonus scheme of up to 7%.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage proactively and hold a measure of responsibility for the long-term success of the portfolio.
  • Build effective relationships with operations leaders and authority to operate holders, supporting operations, safety, and plant protection.
  • Interact confidently with individuals across all organisational levels, offering expertise in technical governance and scrutinising engineering activities.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of daily operations, safety cases, and management of unexpected events.
  • Deliver and utilise complex industrial or research plant, with extensive experience of the following:
    • Delivery across Plant Lifecycle (Need, Design, Build & Test, Commission, Operate, Monitor, Maintain & Modify, Decommission).
    • Relevant industrial regulations, codes, standards, and norms together with tailoring their application within a diverse business.
