The Chief Financial Officer will join a small but impactful executive team and report directly to the CEO to help manage the company's ambitious international growth. This crucial role is central to driving Oxitec's success via sound financial operations, ensuring full compliance, establishing new programs and country operations, and helping drive corporate strategy and operations.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record of success in senior financial leadership and management roles, preferably within an international, multisite environment in an innovation-driven or mid-sized technology start-up. You should be versed in UK and US financial reporting/compliance requirements, as well as have general exposure to setting up or managing financial operations and teams in additional countries. Experience in grant funding and reporting would be highly beneficial as would leadership experience in managing financial operations and growth in commercial and manufacturing lines of business.
