About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Community Health Nurse to join our School Nursing team at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children, young people, and their families in Northampton.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative service that prioritizes the needs of our service users. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes Practice Assessors, Specialist School Nurses, Health Visitors, Healthy Child Practitioners, Nursery Nurses, and School Nurse Assistants.

You will work closely with our service users, their families, and other professionals to deliver a range of interventions, including:

  • In-depth Health Assessments
  • Immunisations
  • Health Education
  • Sexual Health Advice and Assessment
  • Leading Group Psycho-Education, Including Wellbeing Workshops
  • Parent and Child Interventions
  • Continence Clinics
  • Wellbeing Interventions
  • Drop-in Services
