About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Principal Hydrologist to join our team at Neo Environmental Ltd. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality flood risk assessments, SuDs schemes, and hydraulic modeling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver flood risk assessments, SuDs schemes, and other water management projects
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling and produce associated reports
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver projects and meet client expectations
  • Organize and conduct site visits, attend team and client meetings, and undertake extensive modeling work and report writing
Requirements
  • Relevant hydrology qualification and chartered or working towards chartership (preferably ICE)
  • Experience completing flood risk assessments, surface water management plans, and hydraulic modeling using Flood Modeller Pro, HEC-RAS, or similar software
  • Demonstrable experience of the successful delivery of hydrology reports and good knowledge and understanding of UK legislation
  • Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills
  • Experience with GIS and other software packages
  • Full driving license
Desirable Criteria
  • Master's degree relevant to hydrology
  • Experience in peat stability and related assessments
  • Strong scientific and engineering knowledge in relation to hydrology
  • Tendering/bid preparation experience
  • Production of EIA chapters
