Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Day Nursing Team at Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People (QEF). As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and rehabilitation to individuals with complex physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the clinical needs of clients undergoing rehabilitation, ensuring their physical and personal well-being is maintained.
  • Implement and evaluate care plans and therapy guidelines, working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team and external professionals.
  • Administer and audit medication, maintaining accurate records and adhering to infection control guidelines.
  • Manage continence plans, liaising with the Continence Advisor and ensuring clients' dietary needs are met according to dietician guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe environment, adhering to Health & Safety standards and reporting any incidents or hazards to your line manager.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop effective discharge plans, ensuring a smooth transition for clients.
About You

We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and rehabilitation. You will have a valid NMC pin and evidence of post-registration education and practice. A mentorship qualification is desirable but not essential.
