A prominent independent manufacturer specializing in pumps for the chemical, nuclear, and pharmaceutical sectors is seeking a dynamic Internal Sales Representative to enhance our esteemed Internal Sales team and drive our growth initiatives.


BASIC SALARY:
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum

BENEFITS:

  • 21 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 24 days plus bank holidays after three years of service

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Internal Sales Representative - Pumps / Chemical / Manufacturing / Engineering


Since our establishment in the UK, we have experienced substantial growth, developing a company that possesses the products, services, and expertise to support a variety of industries.

We are eager to expand our internal sales team, and as a self-driven Internal Sales Representative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research and preparing technical quotations, tenders, and proposals
  • Addressing and resolving technical inquiries
  • Negotiating and finalizing business opportunities while assisting the organization in generating new inquiries
  • Coordinating with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and other relevant matters
  • Accurately maintaining and updating management information systems
  • Occasionally representing the company at customer visits, exhibitions, and industry events

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Internal Sales Representative - Pumps / Chemical / Manufacturing / Engineering


To excel as an Internal Sales Representative, you should enjoy and be adept at fostering long-lasting and valuable relationships with all key stakeholders within the business and customer base.

A technical background and/or understanding of fluid handling systems is preferred.

Experience in a customer-focused role within the chemical, pharmaceutical, or nuclear sectors will be advantageous.


YOU WILL BE:

  • Responsible for managing your own workload independently
  • Confident in using technical and engineering terminology
  • Capable of working within established timelines while multitasking and handling various business functions
  • A collaborative team player who contributes positively and supportively to our internal and external sales teams
  • Proficient with IT systems, including the complete Microsoft Office suite
  • Personable and an enthusiastic team member with exceptional interpersonal skills
