Job PurposeThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Technical Solutions Specialist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading all IT sales opportunities and projects from start to finish. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers and IT customers, understanding their requirements, and translating them into viable technical solutions.
You will work closely with our sales team to identify untapped IT opportunities within their customer bases and increase opportunities to cross-sell and upsell. Your proactive approach, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities will enable you to propose innovative solutions and drive business growth.
Responsibilities- Be the primary point of contact for all IT sales queries and opportunities, providing expert guidance and support to our customers and internal teams.
- Manage and oversee all IT opportunities from scope to quotation and implementation, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including IT consultants, account managers, and technical support teams, to drive sales and deliver projects.
- Attend prospective IT customer sales meetings to maximize closing deals and build strong relationships.
- Develop and deliver IT training sessions for our sales team, coaching and upskilling colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Create marketing and sales collateral for the IT vertical, including writing and posting engaging content for our social media channels.
- Proven track record in a pre-sales or technical consulting role within IT, demonstrating the ability to assess customer needs and tailor IT solutions to meet those needs effectively.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT support and engineering roles, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and networking concepts, including Windows operating systems, virtualization technologies, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
