Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Quantitative Systems Pharmacology and Translational Medicine to lead efforts in embedding Quantitative Systems Pharmacology strategies into Nxera programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and shaping the application of QSP-led approaches to address drug discovery and development questions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Quantitative Systems Pharmacology strategies to support drug discovery decisions, including target prioritization, biomarker characterization, and early clinical trial design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QSP approaches into project translational plans and demonstrate their utility in supporting clear decision-making.
  • Lead the development and implementation of QSP models and simulations to inform drug development decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including CROs and academic institutions, to leverage expertise and resources in QSP and Systems Pharmacology.

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent in a relevant field, including Engineering, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Pharmacometrics, Systems Biology, or Pharmacology.
  • Proven ability to use modeling software, such as Matlab/SimBiology, and programming/data analytical skills using languages like Python or R.
  • Extensive network of experts in QSP and/or Systems Pharmacology, with hands-on experience in managing outsourced studies with CROs or academic partners.
