Pharmacometrician - Clinical Pharmacology Expert

This position requires a highly skilled Pharmacometrician to contribute to the development of model-informed drug development (MIDD) plans for assigned projects. The successful candidate will optimize prospective studies, inform drug development strategy, and provide quantitative analyses to support project decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and report quantitative analyses integrating knowledge of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, patient characteristics, and disease states to optimize doses, dosage regimens, and study designs throughout all phases of clinical drug development.
Identify opportunities where MIDD approaches can advance the understanding of pharmacological activity, efficacy, and safety.
Provide support in the development and application of state-of-the-art quantitative methodologies, pharmacometrics tools, software, hardware, and related business processes.
Requirements
PhD in Pharmacometrics, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or PharmD.
Strong quantitative modeling skills, including pharmacometrics, pharmacokinetics, mechanistic modeling, and statistics.
Experience with R software and other pharmaceutical software, such as Nonmem, PsN, and MATLAB.
Strong communication skills, including written, oral, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry experience in Pharmacometrics, Clinical PK/PD, and/or Clinical Pharmacology.
Experience with programming languages, such as Python and C++.
Familiarity with regulatory documents and Pfizer's Global Performance Plan.
Organizational Relationships
Reports to the Pharmacometrics Group Leader within the line organization of Pharmacometrics, GPD-Clinical Pharmacology.
Matrixed relationships with Clinical Pharmacology Leads, Clinicians, Statisticians, and colleagues from Programming groups and other groups as required.
Work Location Assignment
This position requires On Premise work location assignment.
