About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated People Helpdesk Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our People Service team, you will be the first point of contact for all colleagues contacting the team, providing timely, effective, and professional advice or direct calls to subject matter experts when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for employees, providing professional advice and support via phone or email.
  • Handle HR queries, from employment documentation to right-to-work checks, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records, update tracking systems, and provide regular reports on your activity.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure HR best practices and excellent colleague experience.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism, handling sensitive information with care.
  • Take part in HR administrative tasks and contribute to wider HR projects.
Requirements
  • A service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to solving problems.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple cases with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience handling queries across multiple channels (in-person, phone, email).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and experience with HR systems like ServiceNow/Workday (preferred).
  • Generalist HR experience or recruitment admin experience.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy compliance.
