Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our client's modern and progressive office in Brighton & Hove. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a fast and effective service to clients, handling payroll and records, using software like myePayWindow, managing SMP & SSP, producing P45s and much more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely payroll processing
- Manage comprehensive payroll records
- Calculate partial-month payments and holiday entitlements
- Communicate with clients to clarify and resolve payroll calculations
- Manage client pension schemes, including setup and monthly uploads across multiple providers
- Utilize Sage, STAR, and other software packages
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a Payroll function
- Data Entry experience
- Competency with Excel and confidence with IT systems / software
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs A - C, including Mathematics and English
- Ability to manage payroll processes and calculations
- Experience with statutory payments and pension scheme management
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum + annual salary review
- Full-time position: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (lunch from 1:00pm - 2:00pm)
