Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our client's modern and progressive office in Brighton & Hove. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a fast and effective service to clients, handling payroll and records, using software like myePayWindow, managing SMP & SSP, producing P45s and much more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Manage comprehensive payroll records
  • Calculate partial-month payments and holiday entitlements
  • Communicate with clients to clarify and resolve payroll calculations
  • Manage client pension schemes, including setup and monthly uploads across multiple providers
  • Utilize Sage, STAR, and other software packages

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a Payroll function
  • Data Entry experience
  • Competency with Excel and confidence with IT systems / software
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs A - C, including Mathematics and English
  • Ability to manage payroll processes and calculations
  • Experience with statutory payments and pension scheme management

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum + annual salary review
  • Full-time position: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (lunch from 1:00pm - 2:00pm)
