HR Administrator/receptionist

Renovo is a new independent specialist provider for the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of adults with neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury (ABI), and progressive neurological disorders. We offer high quality care that promotes and supports the best rehabilitative outcomes possible.
Due to the high demand for our services we currently have a vacancy for a weekend Receptionist/ HR Administrator at Renovo Brighton.
As a Receptionist/HR Administrator at Renovo, you can expect a working environment that is welcoming and friendly, supportive, and be granted the opportunities to develop within your role.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Welcome visitors to the Home Reception, and direct them accordingly
- Answer incoming telephone calls, take messages, and transfer to the appropriate person
- Deal with all staff enquiries and requests; redirecting, where appropriate
- Provide administrative support to staff and patients, as required
- **Training**:
- Updating and maintaining of training records and matrix and training files for new employees.
- Booking external training courses (Brighton & Hove CC, safeguarding, external course, seminar, workshops etc).
- Liaising with distance learning providers, i.e. colleges.
- Scanning and recording of E-files on the system/individual training files, including Oral health training, NVQ training and medication training requirements.
**Recruitment**:
- Supporting the recruitment process for all staff. This would include; completing the necessary recruitment paperwork, posting job adverts and discussing roles with external recruiters, sifting and shortlisting, and arranging and attending interviews, where required.
- Managing the pre-employment process, including; ensuring DBS checks and references are completed in a timely manner. Setting up and ongoing management of employee files.
- Raising any starter paperwork and monitoring the induction and probation processes.
- Confirming probation passes and extensions, whilst raising any concerns with the line manager.
**Payroll**
- Submitting the monthly payroll information by previously agreed deadline.
- Submitting all starter and leaver information to payroll in a timely manner.
- Oversight of the rota system (currently Rota Horizon) and checking rotas against RH
- Oversee the absence management process across the Home.
- Ensure return to work interviews are completed, raising any concerns with the line manager.
- Reporting of any sickness to payroll in a timely manner.
- Ensure information relating to meetings and minutes is saved appropriately.
**Employee relations**
- Conversant with the policies and procedures relating to grievance, disciplinary, and capability.
- Provide advice in relation to minor misconduct issues. Able to identity when an issue may become complex and raises it with the line manager in a timely manner.
- Supports employee relations cases with minute taking and documentation requirements.
- Able to support any investigation meetings in line with guidance from line manager.
**RELEVANT SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Experience managing Reception duties within a Healthcare setting
- Experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge of legislation that affects your are of work, including standards of professional practice, and CQC requirements
- English and Maths equivalent to GCSE, Grade C (essential)
- Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc (essential)
- Organised, with the ability to set up and maintain accurate document filing systems (essential)
- Good communication skills, that are clear and concise, and can meet the needs of the audience (essential)
- Calm, under pressure (essential)
- CIPD accreditation (or desire to achieve)
**Salary**: £28,000 per annum, pro rata
