About the Role

Trostan Dene is seeking a skilled Purchasing Professional to join its supply chain department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing productive supplier relationships, managing a multi-million-pound global stock holding, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate costs and improve business outcomes.
  • Oversee the management of global stock holdings across multiple warehouse facilities, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient logistics.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Product Design, QA, and Sales teams to drive business objectives and improve supply chain processes.
  • Develop and implement demand forecasting and inventory planning strategies using in-house commercial systems.
  • Provide day-to-day support to colleagues within the Purchasing department and wider commercial teams.

Requirements

We are looking for a commercially aware and experienced Purchasing professional with a strong background in Procurement practices. You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and be an effective team player. CIPS qualification or working towards is beneficial but not essential.
