**JOB PURPOSE**: To ensure all products produced are to the correct specification and to the correct quality standards prior to Quality Control Inspection

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

1.To ensure all products are assembled correctly and to the correct specification.

2.To ensure all products produced are to the correct quality standards.

3.To ensure all products are correctly labelled with the necessary labels.

4. To ensure housekeeping standards are maintained and improved upon in your work area.

5.To assist with the training of new recruits.

6.To assemble all the various products that Chelsom sell e.g. Wall Lights, Floor Lights, Chandeliers, Mirrors, Specials & Bespoke Fittings etc.

7.To work on refurbishment projects as directed by your supervisor.

8.To be responsible for the upkeep/safety and maintenance of all your own equipment.

9..To undertake special project work relating to assembly work as ad when requested.

**ESSENTIAL**

1. Ability to read & understand drawings / diagrams.

2. Extensive product knowledge**.**

3. Experience of working in a production environment.

4.Knowledge of electrical components, consumables, switches, plugs, cabling, drivers, dimming, Led's etc.

**DESIRABLE**

1.GCSE Math’s & English

2.Excellent communication and people skills

3.Good problem solving & decision-making skills

4.Electrical Qualification - City & Guilds etc
