Automotive Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Training Specialist to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a Vehicle Technician Instructor, you will play a key role in delivering technical courses to military students of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Training Material Development: Develop and maintain high-quality training materials, collaborating with the Media and Graphics Department as needed to create relevant Initial Trade Training materials.
- Continuous Personal Development: Maintain a Continuous Personal Development (CPD) portfolio focused on new technologies and equipment, ensuring that lesson plans and training sessions align with approved Learner Specifications, Course Specifications, and Course Training Plans.
- Course Review and Update: Regularly review and update course material and content to reflect current advancements in equipment and technology, utilizing appropriate training aids.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Assess trainees through various methods, including creation of written examinations and progress test papers, designing practical assessment scenarios, and conducting continuous assessments.
- Examination and Assignment Management: Mark examination papers, set and evaluate course and homework assignments, and supervise examinations and assessments.
- Trainee Development and Support: Monitor trainee development through feedback, appraisal, disciplinary actions, and training interventions, maintaining all supporting documentation and promptly notifying the Lead Trainer of any special trainee developmental needs or training delays.
- Vehicle Technician Background: Minimum City & Guilds Part 3/NVQ L3 or Apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance (Heavy or Light automotive vehicle, plant machinery) or equivalent military qualifications, gained as Class1 REME Vehicle Mechanic or similar RN/RAF trade.
- Strong Team Player: Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Organized, great time management, and proactive manner.
- IT Literacy: Strong IT literacy skills.
For Security Clearance reasons to work this role, you must have British citizenship or be a dual national with British citizenship.
