Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician Trainer to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering technical courses to military students of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training material, collaborating with the Media and Graphics Department as needed to create relevant Initial Trade Training materials.
  • Maintain a Continuous Personal Development (CPD) portfolio focused on new technologies and equipment.
  • Ensure that lesson plans and training sessions align with approved Learner Specifications, Course Specifications, and Course Training Plans.
  • Review course material and content regularly to ensure it reflects current advancements in equipment and technology, utilizing appropriate training aids.
  • Monitor trainee development through feedback, appraisal, disciplinary actions, and training interventions.
  • Maintain all supporting documentation and promptly notify the Lead Trainer of any special trainee developmental needs or training delays.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum City & Guilds Part 3/NVQ L3 or Apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance (Heavy or Light automotive vehicle, plant machinery) or equivalent military qualifications, gained as Class1 REME Vehicle Mechanic or similar RN/RAF trade.
