Learning and Development Specialist

As a Learning and Development Specialist at Babcock International Group, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our apprenticeship programs.
With a focus on creating engaging and effective learning experiences, you will work closely with our teams to develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our clients and candidates.
About the Role
This is a full-time position based at our Lyneham site, working 37.5 hours per week. You will be responsible for updating and developing existing apprenticeship curriculum, as well as coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new curriculum and teaching materials for apprenticeship programs
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate record-keeping and assessment results
- Support the delivery of training to internal teams and stakeholders
- Work closely with subject matter experts to design and deliver high-quality learning content
- Ensure compliance with ESFA, Ofsted, and customer requirements
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Considerable experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Strong understanding of work-based learning programs and engineering qualifications
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Engineering qualifications minimum level 3
