Vehicle Technician Trainer Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician Trainer to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering technical courses to military students of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain training materials, collaborating with the Media and Graphics Department to create relevant Initial Trade Training materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and equipment, ensuring lesson plans and training sessions align with approved Learner Specifications, Course Specifications, and Course Training Plans.
  • Assess trainees through written examinations, progress test papers, practical assessment scenarios, and continuous assessments.
  • Mark examination papers, set and evaluate course and homework assignments, and supervise examinations and assessments.
  • Monitor trainee development through feedback, appraisal, disciplinary actions, and training interventions.
Requirements:
  • Vehicle Technician background with a strong team player attitude.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong IT literacy skills.
  • Minimum City & Guilds Part 3/NVQ L3 or Apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance (Heavy or Light automotive vehicle, plant machinery) or equivalent military qualifications.
