We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician Trainer to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering technical courses to military students of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver training material, collaborating with the Media and Graphics Department as needed to create relevant Initial Trade Training materials.
- Maintain a Continuous Personal Development (CPD) portfolio focused on new technologies and equipment.
- Ensure that lesson plans and training sessions align with approved Learner Specifications, Course Specifications, and Course Training Plans.
- Review course material and content regularly to ensure it reflects current advancements in equipment and technology, utilizing appropriate training aids.
- Monitor trainee development through feedback, appraisal, disciplinary actions, and training interventions.
- Maintain all supporting documentation and promptly notify the Lead Trainer of any special trainee developmental needs or training delays.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- City & Guilds Part 3/NVQ L3 or Apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance (Heavy or Light automotive vehicle, plant machinery) or equivalent military qualifications, gained as Class1 REME Vehicle Mechanic or similar RN/RAF trade.
