About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team in Truro. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership and day-to-day supervision to a team of support workers, empowering individuals to live the lives they want to lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide great leadership and supervision to a team of support workers.
  • Assist the locality manager in the supervision, coaching, and mentoring of the team.
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals and model best practice.
  • Coordinate the daily provision of support and activities to ensure a high-quality, responsive, and efficient service.
  • Manage finances and other resources, meeting legal requirements and standards of care.

Requirements

  • Confident problem solver and creative thinker with good communication skills.
  • Resilience to overcome challenges.
  • Experience working with people with a learning disability.
  • Experience developing skills within a team.
  • Previous management experience is desirable.
  • Relevant social care qualification.
  • Manual car driving license essential.
