Job Title: Pharmacist Leader

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated pharmacist to lead our pharmacy team at our Care Centre in Barnsley. As a Pharmacist Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of 4-5 support staff, including a non-Pharmacist manager (NVQ3 Qualified).
• Team Support: Work closely with the manager to offer moral support and guidance, helping to maximize team performance and morale.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of patient care and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.
• Communication: Engage in regular communication with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and enhance service delivery.
• Inventory Management: Ensure the pharmacy remains well-stocked and manage inventory efficiently.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a pharmacist, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership: Ability to provide effective support to a non-Pharmacist team lead.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Registration: Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
