Unlock Your Potential in Credit Risk Management
Cummins Inc. is seeking a talented Placement Student to join our Finance team, specializing in Credit Risk. As a key member of our team, you will gain hands-on experience in credit reporting, planning, and forecasting, while analyzing credit exposures and mitigating risk to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze credit reports, forecasts, and planning documents to inform business decisions.
- Conduct credit-worthiness reviews on new and existing accounts to ensure compliance with corporate credit policies.
- Develop a deep understanding of trade finance and credit management to support business growth and drive corporate metrics.
- Ensure all credit activities are aligned with corporate policies and Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the business unit to prepare metrics analysis, consolidated credit reporting, and ad-hoc credit analysis and reports.
- Represent the function in various meetings and events, supporting the scoping and completion of improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Studying towards a degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, or Business discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and other business software applications.
