Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Director of People & Culture to enhance our team and play a pivotal role in nurturing a positive workplace atmosphere that embodies our dedication to service excellence. This position is crucial in overseeing the daily operations of our dynamic People & Culture department, focusing on the comprehensive employee journey, including onboarding, engagement, recruitment, retention, training, development, and performance management. The role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is based on-site during standard office hours, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all recruitment and selection processes
  • Promote a culture of training and development for all staff
  • Collaborate with management on performance management initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards
  • Stay informed on best practices and propose initiatives to boost employee engagement and well-being
  • Communicate effectively and proactively
  • Assist in managing HR, payroll, and internal communication systems
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team or independently as needed

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity within the hospitality sector, with experience in private members' clubs being advantageous. To excel in this role, you should demonstrate:
