About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil-Structural Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our Decommissioning & Waste Services (DWS) market, you will be responsible for delivering complex design packages for our nuclear clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and develop current engineers and integrate with the wider disciplines within the engineering group.
  • Take a senior role on projects or demonstrate strong capabilities in becoming a civil/structural lead that can contribute to multi-disciplinary design delivery with minimal oversight.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage and motivate a team and demonstrate good leadership qualities.
  • Excellent team player, able to collaborate effectively with market colleagues, other wider-business colleagues, and the management team.
  • Experience and expertise in engineering design and substantiation, including first principles analysis, with a good knowledge of UK and International design codes and industry regulations.
  • Candidates to be an Incorporated Engineer or working towards chartership with a recognised institution such as The Institution of Civil Engineers and/or The Institution of Structural Engineers and hold a minimum engineering degree qualification (accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers or the Institution of Structural Engineers, or other recognised body).
