About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Civil-Structural Engineer to join our Decommissioning & Waste Services (DWS) market within our Nuclear & Power business. This role is ideal for individuals based in Northwest England, although other locations in the UK can be considered.

As a Senior/Principal Civil-Structural Engineer, you will work in our market, which is predominantly focused on delivering engineering and waste management projects for clients within the Nuclear Decommissioning sector. You will be responsible for the delivery of complex design packages for key nuclear clients and will oversee and develop current engineers, integrating with the wider disciplines within the engineering group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a team, demonstrating good leadership qualities and self-motivation.
  • Collaborate effectively with market colleagues, other wider-business colleagues, and the management team.
  • Have experience and expertise in engineering design and substantiation, including first principles analysis, with a good knowledge of UK and International design codes and industry regulations.
  • Hold a minimum engineering degree qualification (accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers or the Institution of Structural Engineers, or other recognised body).
