Job Summary:

The successful applicant will be required to hit the ground running - offering x3 S2 groups to older adults/LTC patients and hold a small caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless step-up and step-down arrangements are in place to maintain a stepped care approach.
  2. Assess and integrate work-related issues into the overall therapy process, promoting a holistic approach to patient care.
  3. Operate from an inclusive values base that promotes recovery, recognizes and respects diversity, and fosters a culture of inclusivity.
  4. Prepare and present clinical information for all patients on their caseload to clinical case management supervisors within the service on an agreed and scheduled basis, ensuring safe practice and adherence to clinical governance obligations.
  5. Respond to and implement supervision suggestions by supervisors in clinical practice, promoting continuous improvement and excellence.
  6. Engage in and respond to personal development supervision to enhance competences and clinical practice, ensuring ongoing professional growth and development.
  7. Attend multidisciplinary meetings relating to referrals or clients in treatment, where appropriate, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  8. Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  9. Keep coherent records of all clinical activity in line with service protocols, using these records and clinical outcome data in clinical decision making.
  10. Ensure client confidentiality is protected at all times, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  11. Stay up-to-date with advances in the spheres of treatment for common mental health problems, ensuring the highest standards of care and practice.
  12. Establish clear objectives with senior therapists on a regular basis as part of continuing professional development, ensuring ongoing growth and improvement.
  13. Participate in individual performance review and respond to agreed objectives, promoting accountability and excellence.
  14. Keep up-to-date with Continuing Professional Development records and ensure personal development plan maintains up-to-date specialist knowledge of latest theoretical and service delivery models/developments.
  15. Attend relevant conferences/workshops in line with identified professional objectives, ensuring ongoing professional growth and development.
  16. Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the overall number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week, minimizing waiting times and ensuring treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient.
