Job Overview

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to become part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering desktop services within a large-scale enterprise environment, particularly focusing on the ePMA initiative.

We are seeking a full-time leader for our desktop support team who will oversee the daily operations and provide line management for a group of Desktop Support Engineers within the DDaT Information & Communication Technology sector, specifically related to the ePMA project. This project encompasses various services that facilitate or provide Information & Communication Technology across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

A profound understanding and experience in resolving intricate technical challenges, along with familiarity with supporting technologies such as Intune, Endpoint Manager (SCCM), and print management solutions, are crucial.

You will be responsible for managing personnel within your area of oversight, which includes line management tasks such as handling sickness, conducting appraisals, and overseeing recruitment processes. Effective communication with service users and third-party vendors at all levels is essential.

You will also be tasked with prioritizing both planned and unplanned tasks within your area of responsibility to align with organizational and ICT-wide objectives, work schedules for improvement projects, and resource planning for various projects. Collaborating closely with other ICT teams and stakeholders in delivering desktop services and projects is a key aspect of this role.

We are committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, development, and learning, supported by open communication and leadership that encourages teamwork.
