Senior Accessories Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accessories Designer to join our growing wholesale team. As a Senior Accessories Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing products across multiple product categories, including bags, tech, gifting, and beauty.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with major retailers to design and develop products that meet their requirements.
  2. Create bespoke packaging for products designed.
  3. Develop unique and creative ranges from initial mood board to final product.
  4. Draw up CADs using Adobe Illustrator and create functional and technical design packs for suppliers.
  5. Liaise closely with suppliers in the Far East to ensure products are developed correctly.
  6. Track and monitor the product development process, ensuring timely completion.
  7. Conduct competitor research to stay ahead of the market.
  8. Work closely with other stakeholders, including wholesale account managers and production teams.
  9. Upload designs for approvals on licensing systems.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in a design role, preferably at a brand or retailer.
  2. Creative with a commercial eye, able to balance aesthetics with business needs.
  3. Strong skills in print and graphic design, with proficiency in Adobe packages.
  4. Ideal experience working with licensed ranges and suppliers in the Far East.
  5. Ability to prioritize workload and complete tasks efficiently.
  6. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work across different product categories.
