Accounting Opportunity

TPF Recruitment is seeking an accomplished Bookkeeper/Accountant to join a reputable accountancy practice in the Addlestone area. This role offers a flexible working arrangement, with either a 4 or 5-day working week, and requires some travel flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage bookkeeping for various clients using Xero and Sage Line 50.
  • Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns.
  • Process monthly payroll journals.
  • Conduct fixed asset reconciliations.
  • Produce monthly/quarterly management accounts packs for clients.
  • Prepare accounts.
  • Draft corporation tax computations for review by the tax team.
  • Liaise with external auditors to resolve auditor queries.
  • Set up BACS payment runs for clients.
  • Identify clients with P11d reporting requirements and collate information to assist with the completion of P11Ds.
Requirements
  • AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE Accountant.
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and internal team, with the ability to communicate problems encountered with team members.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and meet strict reporting deadlines.
  • Experience with bookkeeping using Xero & Sage Line 50.
  • Experience with accounts preparation software (CCH desirable but not essential).
  • Experience with corporation tax preparation software (CCH desirable but not essential).
  • Processing payroll journals.
  • Facilitating BACS payment runs for clients.
