Job Opportunity

TPF Recruitment is seeking an exceptional candidate to fill a key role in their accountancy practice. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a reputable firm in the Addlestone area, providing a stable and challenging work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee bookkeeping for various clients using Xero and Sage Line 50, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns, as well as draft corporation tax computations for review by the tax team.
  • Payroll and BACS: Process monthly payroll journals and set up BACS payment runs for clients.
  • Financial Reporting: Create monthly and quarterly management accounts packs for clients, including fixed asset reconciliations and accounts preparation.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with external auditors to resolve auditor queries and identify clients with P11d reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE Accountant.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with clients and internal team members, with the ability to communicate problems encountered with team members.
  • Workload Management: Ability to prioritize workloads and meet strict reporting deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with bookkeeping using Xero & Sage Line 50, accounts preparation software (CCH desirable but not essential), and corporation tax preparation software (CCH desirable but not essential).
