We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at LGC National Laboratories. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production and maintenance of high-quality reference materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the production of reference materials to agreed specifications
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure required analyses are delivered to specification
  • Collate and evaluate data in partnership with LGC statisticians
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Present results and attend planning and certification panels as required
  • Draft reference material certificates and reports
  • Assist with ad hoc reference material related activities
  • Adhere to quality systems and UKAS accreditation requirements
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in chemistry
  • Self-reliant and self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail
  • Good organization and communication skills, both oral and written
  • An appreciation of the importance of working within a quality system and knowledge of good laboratory practice
  • Ability to deliver work within timescale and budget
  • Methodical approach to work
  • IT literate, with confident use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, email, and the Internet for information searches
  • Aptitude for multi-activity working
