We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at LGC Group. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our commercial services and special/CI projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of key Project Management tool (Smartsheet), to ensure that project data is kept up to date and accurate.
  • Coordination of project updates from workstream leads and other key stakeholders.
  • Supporting reporting of project outcomes to the Project Emerald Teams and Executive Leadership Team.

Business Development activities:

  • Support the Programmes & Commercial Management team to effectively manage various commercial projects
  • Additional administration and general support to the Programmes & Commercial Management Team
  • Assist Project Managers with planning and updating project information on the company's ERP system (IFS), CRM system (Salesforce), and contract management system (IronClad).
  • Assist project managers with continuous improvement activities
  • Monitoring of government procurement portals and calls for tenders to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Organise meetings and take minutes (after training)

Requirements:

  • Strong IT skills (competent in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint))
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including meticulous record keeping and attention to detail.
  • Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
  • Able to multitask and complete work to tight deadlines.
