Overview:

First Military Recruitment is excited to collaborate with a leading International Defence organization seeking to hire an Aviation Training Specialist on a 12-month contract basis due to expansion at their Yeovil facility.

The ideal candidate must be capable of obtaining and sustaining Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct learner evaluations to track progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure successful qualification completion.
2. Review training goals, mentor, assess, and validate functional skills and vocational programs with learners in accordance with contractual obligations.
3. Perform 'Mapping' of Diplomas as necessary to ensure compliance and validity for audit standards.
4. Instruct, supervise, assess, validate, and invigilate examinations and apprentice tasks at levels 2 & 3.
5. Assist in sampling and monitoring instructors in the delivery and assessment of technical/practical qualifications within the defence training institution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an Aviation or Aircraft engineering setting.
- Effective stakeholder management across various levels.
- Experience in assessing Diploma/BTEC qualifications is preferred.
- Relevant industry qualifications (diplomas, BTECs at minimum level 3).
- CAVA or equivalent is beneficial but not mandatory.
