Spire Healthcare is pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for an Orthopaedic Surgical Practitioner to become a part of our esteemed theatre team.

Our hospital is renowned for delivering exceptional private healthcare services. With state-of-the-art facilities and a dedicated team of highly skilled professionals, we operate 4 theatres and 2 wards, offering a total of 50 beds. We provide a diverse range of outpatient services through our dynamic outpatient and diagnostic imaging departments, fostering a progressive and stimulating environment for our motivated staff.

In this role, you will engage in a variety of surgical procedures, assisting in the assessment of patients' health and well-being across a complex and evolving caseload. You will play a vital role in delivering care tailored to meet patients' needs, actively promoting best practices and contributing to quality enhancement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include collecting, collating, and organizing data, interpreting information, and making informed assessments available to relevant stakeholders.

This position offers a bonus incentive of £3,000, with £1,000 awarded after successful completion of probation and an additional £1,000 at the end of each year for two years (Terms & Conditions apply).

Key Responsibilities:

Providing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures Delivering exemplary planned care for patients during the perioperative phase Assisting in the management and organization of care within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating theatre Functioning as either Scrub or Recovery Practitioner across various clinical specialties Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams Assessing patient needs and implementing and evaluating their care plans.

Ideal Candidate:

Must be a HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner or an NMC registered Nurse with no restrictions Minimum of 2 years of experience in Orthopaedic Scrubbing Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to maintain our high standards of patient care. Flexibility is required as you will rotate across different specialties.
