Spire Healthcare is pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for an Orthopaedic Surgical Nurse Specialist to become part of our dynamic and well-regarded theatre team.

Our facilities are designed to provide high-quality, comprehensive private healthcare. The hospital is equipped with 4 operating theatres and 2 wards, totaling 50 beds, alongside a busy outpatient and diagnostic imaging department, creating a progressive and stimulating environment for our dedicated professionals.

In this role, you will engage in a variety of surgical procedures, supporting the assessment of patients' health and well-being within a complex and evolving caseload. You will assist in delivering care tailored to meet the individual needs of patients, actively promoting best practices and contributing to quality enhancements. Your responsibilities will include collecting, collating, and organizing data, interpreting information, and making informed assessments available to relevant stakeholders.

This position offers a bonus premium of £3,000, with £1,000 awarded after successful completion of probation and an additional £1,000 at the end of each year for two years. (Terms & Conditions apply)

Key Responsibilities:

Providing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures Delivering exemplary planned care during the perioperative phase Assisting in the management and organization of care within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating theatre Functioning as either Scrub or Recovery Practitioner across various clinical specialties Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams Assessing patient needs and implementing and evaluating their care plans.

Ideal Candidate:

You will be a HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner or an NMC registered Nurse with no restrictions A minimum of 2 years of experience in Orthopaedic Scrubbing Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to maintain our high standards of patient care. Flexibility is required as you will be rotating across different specialties.
