Job Overview

In light of our recent service restructuring, we are excited to announce an opportunity for a new role within our acute Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) department.

The successful candidate will engage in a diverse range of responsibilities, assisting the acute SLT team with various administrative and clinical tasks. This includes collecting patient background information, coordinating with community services, and delivering face-to-face therapy sessions and assessments as designed by the SLT professionals.

You will collaborate with two other SLT Assistants specializing in Neuro and Head and Neck Cancer, alongside a supportive and experienced SLT team and our dedicated administrative staff.

Working in an acute hospital setting means that each day presents unique challenges and learning opportunities. You will play a vital role in assisting our team in supporting patients facing various communication and swallowing difficulties.
