We are looking for a future team member to fill the role of Client Service Director (VP) within our Asset Services, Client Service Delivery division. This position offers a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary advocate for clients within the Asset Servicing sector, ensuring BNY Mellon consistently delivers exceptional client experiences across our diverse product offerings.
- Manage complex client inquiries, from routine service escalations to the introduction of new products, while maintaining service delivery commitments and regulatory compliance.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' business models and technology strategies to tailor services effectively.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring alignment with their service expectations and needs.
- Facilitate effective communication within clients' organizations regarding industry developments, regulatory changes, and product advancements.
- Monitor service quality and client satisfaction, proactively identifying potential challenges and opportunities for enhancement.
- Deliver insightful operational analytics and transparency into service performance, leveraging industry best practices.
- Provide strategic recommendations for improvements across service delivery, product offerings, technology, and operations to optimize client solutions.
- Collaborate with technology, product, and operations teams to enhance current services and develop innovative solutions for the future.
- Proven ability to cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and operate with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Focus on controls and compliance, with the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, mentoring less experienced team members.
- Experience in top-tier investment services firms is preferred.
- Background in delivering exceptional client experiences in client service roles or financial services operations, particularly in Custody and Fund Services.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Significant work experience in financial services or a related industry is preferred.
