We are looking for a future team member for the position of Client Service Director (VP) to become part of our Asset Services, Client Service Delivery team. This role offers a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary advocate for clients within the Asset Servicing division, ensuring BNY Mellon consistently delivers exceptional client experiences across our diverse product offerings.
- Oversee a range of client concerns, from routine service escalations to the implementation of new products, while balancing service delivery commitments and regulatory compliance.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' businesses, operational frameworks, and technological strategies.
- Deliver outstanding service tailored to client needs and expectations across all products and services.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to fully grasp their service requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication within clients' organizations regarding industry developments, regulatory changes, and product advancements.
- Monitor service quality and product performance, proactively identifying potential issues and opportunities for enhancement.
- Provide insightful operational analytics and transparency into service performance, utilizing industry benchmarks.
- Offer strategic recommendations for improvements in service delivery, product offerings, technology, and operations to optimize client solutions.
- Collaborate with technology, product, and operations teams to enhance current services and develop superior solutions for the future.
- Proven ability to cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and operate with a sense of urgency.
- Clear and concise communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
- Strong focus on controls and the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the capacity to mentor less experienced team members.
- Experience engaging with top-tier investment services firms.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional client experiences in client service delivery or financial services operations, particularly in Custody and Fund Services.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred minimum years of total work experience in financial services or a related industry.
