We are currently seeking experienced Environmental Planners at the Senior and Senior Associate levels to join our organization on a permanent basis. With a flexible work model that includes both remote and office options, we aim to support a healthy work-life balance while promoting effective teamwork.

Our growth trajectory allows us to engage in diverse projects across various sectors, particularly in major energy and infrastructure initiatives. We are involved in innovative energy projects, including carbon capture and storage, renewable energy solutions, hydrogen development, and transmission & distribution.

As we contribute to some of the most significant projects in the country, we are looking for candidates whose aspirations align with our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

At the Senior/Principal level, your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Facilitating the planning and execution of energy and infrastructure projects while providing expert advice throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Managing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) screening and scoping processes.
  • Preparing Environmental Statements and reviewing technical contributions, along with other environmental and planning-related documentation.

For Associates and Senior Associates, your role will involve:
  • Guiding and potentially leading the planning and execution of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Overseeing environmental teams and managing Environmental Impact Assessments, as well as preparing relevant reports.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to cultivate client relationships and mentoring junior team members, playing a vital role in team development.

Financial Management

You will also contribute to the preparation of single and multi-disciplinary proposal bids and manage the financial aspects of our project work.

Work Environment

This position offers the chance to work in a truly multi-disciplinary setting, providing access to a wealth of knowledge and expertise across the organization. The role is expected to encompass a wide range of environmental planning tasks, delivering integrated environmental services.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Strong experience in environmental planning, ideally with a focus on the energy sector, and be either chartered or working towards chartership.
  • A comprehensive understanding of environmental issues and disciplines, along with familiarity with various consenting regimes and development management processes.
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing project finances, and excellent communication skills across all levels.
  • The ability to mentor and guide colleagues effectively, demonstrating adaptability to meet the demands of the role.
