Role Description
We are currently seeking experienced Environmental Planners at both Senior and Senior Associate levels to enhance our team. With flexible working arrangements available, we encourage applications from candidates across various locations.

Our diverse growth trajectory involves engaging in projects across multiple sectors, particularly in energy and infrastructure. We are actively involved in pioneering energy initiatives, including carbon capture, renewable energy solutions, hydrogen projects, and transmission & distribution.

As we support some of the most significant projects in the country, we seek candidates whose ambitions align with our vision.

Key Responsibilities
At the Senior / Principal level, you will:
  • Facilitate the planning and execution of energy and infrastructure projects, providing expert advice throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Oversee EIA screening and scoping processes, and prepare comprehensive Environmental Statements, including the review of technical contributions and related reports.

For Associates and Senior Associates, your role will involve:
  • Leading and guiding teams in the planning and execution of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Managing environmental teams, overseeing Environmental Impact Assessments, and preparing relevant environmental and planning documentation.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to cultivate client relationships and mentoring junior team members, contributing to the team's growth.

Financial Management
You will also be involved in developing single and multi-disciplinary proposals, as well as managing the financial aspects of our project work.

Work Environment
This position offers the chance to operate within a truly multi-disciplinary environment, granting access to a wide array of expertise across the organization. The role is expected to encompass a variety of environmental planning tasks, delivering integrated environmental services.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Extensive experience in environmental planning, ideally with a focus on the energy sector, and either be chartered or working towards chartership.
  • A comprehensive understanding of environmental issues and disciplines, alongside familiarity with various consenting regimes and development management processes.
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, a proven track record in project financial management, and exceptional communication skills across all levels.
  • The ability to mentor and manage team members effectively, demonstrating adaptability to meet the role's demands.
