Senior Environmental Consultant

About the Role
Ramboll is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team in the United Kingdom. As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in coordinating statutory and non-statutory environmental assessment processes required to support major development proposals across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Team Management: Lead project teams and manage client relationships, while assisting with business and client development.
- Environmental Assessment Coordination: Coordinate and manage Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for major development projects, taking overall responsibility for smaller projects and coordinating elements of larger schemes.
- Desk-Based Research: Conduct desk-based environmental baseline data collection and interpretation, including site visits.
- Report Writing: Prepare reports and figures, including drafting sections of Impact Assessment chapters and document reviews.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with stakeholders, preparing materials for and participating in stakeholder meetings and public consultations.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Appropriate Degree: An appropriate degree in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a related environmental discipline.
- Master's Degree: A Master's degree in an environmental discipline is advantageous.
- Prior Experience: Prior EIA coordination experience on complex projects is essential.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Full Clean Driving Licence: A full clean driving licence is required.
