Cundall is a world-leading engineering consultant committed to providing a pathway to net-zero-carbon for all the buildings we design. We're seeking a passionate and motivated Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our innovative sustainability team.

The Role

This exciting opportunity involves supporting our growing Whole Life-Cycle and Circular Economy global team in the UK, with a focus on the holistic environmental impact of materials. You'll work closely with colleagues across various disciplines to analyse, report, model, and document sustainability projects, as well as host workshops and present to clients to expand sustainability best practices and health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage delivery of consultancy projects
  • Appraise building fabric and materials
  • Write technical summary reports and detailed technical reports
  • Consult with clients to determine expectations and achieve deliverables
  • Liaise with clients, project partners, and key stakeholders
  • Analyse large datasets and condense into robust and digestible outputs
  • Support junior level consultants and senior colleagues
  • Create strategies and carbon reduction pathways
  • Ensure internal quality assurance
  • Present results to clients
Requirements

We're looking for a highly skilled individual with a degree in engineering, architecture, or the built environment. You'll need strong knowledge of building materials and embodied carbon, as well as a comprehensive understanding of environmental impact quantification, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), Whole Life-Cycle Carbon Assessment methodology, and environmental science.

Excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential in this collaborative and client-focused role.
