Environmental Consultant / Advisor Opportunity

Greenbridge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant / Advisor with a strong background in ECoW work, for a Senior or Principal role in Edinburgh.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a renowned environmental consultancy providing support for construction projects throughout Scotland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, managing, and monitoring ecological and environmental constraints, including nesting birds, confirmed bat roosts, breeding badger setts, waste management, COSHH management, and management of the water environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver concise environmental advice to clients to manage environmental compliance during construction
  • Build strong working relationships with on-site personnel to drive environmental standards
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals
Requirements

We are looking for an excellent problem solver with a passion for the environment, who is committed to high-quality science and advancing environmental excellence.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years ECoW experience (ideally both Ecological with bats, water vole, and nesting birds, and Environmental with waste, COSHH, surface water management, and pollution prevention)
  • Experience of linear construction projects and solid project and budget management experience
