AMFRESH Food & Drink, a world leader in fresh, natural and healthy foods, is seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join our team based in Skelmersdale. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth HR operations, supporting our employees, and contributing to our mission of delivering excellence in every product we create.
Key Responsibilities- HR Administration: Manage and update employee records, ensuring accurate data management in compliance with industry regulations. Maintain HR databases related to employee attendance, leave, and performance metrics.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new hires. Ensure new employees receive a thorough orientation, understanding the company's safety and hygiene standards.
- Employee Relations: Support the HR team in managing employee relations, addressing grievances, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and industry-specific standards.
- Compliance: Ensure HR practices align with food industry regulations and employment laws.
- HR Reporting: Prepare regular HR reports, including turnover rates, training completion, and compliance metrics. Analyze data to support decision-making and continuous improvement in HR practices.
- General HR Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR department, handling employee queries, assisting with disciplinary procedures, and supporting the team with ad-hoc projects.
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Officer, or in a similar role
- CIPD qualification or equivalent level 3 or above
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment legislation, and food industry-specific regulations
