Role Responsibilities

As a key member of our Campaigns team, you will:

  • Design and execute insight-driven campaigns that leverage non-news opportunities, collaborating closely with social, digital, and press colleagues.
  • Ensure that all communications objectives are met through various channels, including digital/social media, advertising, public relations, and partnerships.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities that resonate with target audiences, integrating relevant policies where applicable.
  • Proactively guide your team towards achieving tangible results, ensuring that all efforts align with clear objectives based on policy goals, market research, and stakeholder insights.
  • Foster effective relationships with the broader communications team and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for collaboration and nurturing long-term partnerships.
  • Support the effective delivery of key cross-government campaigns and priorities.
  • Oversee campaign budgets and manage the performance of external suppliers and agencies, ensuring high-quality work is delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong background in developing, implementing, and evaluating impactful communications campaigns.
  • Experience in managing paid marketing initiatives and multiple agencies simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on audience insights.
  • The capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
